It was in the shadow of New Hampshire's White Mountains where at a young age Amanda Bay began her career in nature, landscape and wildlife photography. As an outdoor enthusiast, she began her relationship with wilderness at a young age. From skiing, horseback riding and hiking, she learned early in life to take notice of the unique beauty to be found in nature. It was not until her college days that she began photographing seriously the more intimate details and feelings found in the natural landscape.

Amanda was educated in the art of photography by personal experiences, and not under the direct influence of other artists. This has allowed her to develop her unique approach and style to landscape photography. Her formal college studies focused on computer science, leaving photography as an unbiased artistic outlet.

Dream Big Photography is located in Vail Colorado where she has resided with her Quarter Horse "Little Girl" since 2006.  She moved 2,000 miles away from her friends and family to fulfill her dream of living in the Rocky Mountains and capturing their everlasting beauty for years to come.
